As the year is coming to a close, the team at Longholes Equine Therapy Centre would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all our clients for their support this year. The year has been filled with breakthroughs in rehabilitation, recovery and fitness journeys. We have had the privilege to support clients through injury recovery, pain management, neurological conditions, post-surgical rehab, improved mobility and strength. It has been a pleasure to be part of milestones and see goals achieved.
We have worked closely with yearlings in preparation for sales, helping build early strength, cardiovascular fitness and correct muscle development while minimising strain on growing joints with the water treadmill.
As part of the racing community, we have helped racehorses recover from injury and improve their stamina and fitness on the high-speed treadmill. working closely with trainers as part of their training programme, with outstanding achievements seen on the track. Our sports horses in active competition have also made outstanding progress through tailored fitness and conditioning programmes. Hydrotherapy has played a key role in developing their topline, strength, core stability, and overall endurance. Supporting performance and protecting soundness.
Whether it’s young horses beginning their journey, elite athletes returning to racing or competition, or a much-loved partner returning to pleasure riding, our work is equally rewarding, and the low-impact water therapies, salt therapy and high-speed treadmill sessions have seen horses return safely to work.
Future Plans for LETC
We are proud to share our dedication as therapists with Helen, currently completing the Level 6 Applied Advanced Equine Hydrotherapy qualification, to be able to offer the very best service to the highest standards, with continued investment in the latest staff training and development.
We will be working towards efficiency in booking appointments with a new online booking platform.
A new website, with more information on all the therapies we offer, and how they may benefit your horse.
