Meet the Team

Danyela Goulding

Equine Therapist and Administrator

With over 30 years of experience working in the equine industry, I bring a broad background of knowledege to my role at LETC. My career has included roles as a racing groom, including working for champion trainer Sir Henry Cecil. I have also spent time at the equine hospital as well as working in the field as a vet technician. I also lived in the USA, where I rode and breezed two year olds.

Teaching has always been close to my heart, and I have enjoyed many years as a riding coach. My time coaching at the British racing school was particularly rewarding.

Learning about rehabilitation in horses is a newer focus for me, and I am always looking to expand my knowledge to better support both horses and clients.

Longholes is more than a workplace, its a place where every horse is treated as an individual and their wellbeing is always the priority. I am proud to be part of the dedicated team here at LETC.

Outside of work I love to spend time with my family and my dog Milo. I enjoy travelling with my husband when ever possible.

Helen Cottrell

Equine Therapist

I have over 15 years of hands-on experience in the equine industry, working with top-level racing and performance horses.

Having spent ten years at Juddmonte, including a year working in Kentucky, I then went on to work for six years at Baker McVeigh, where I further developed my practical knowledge and skills within a high-performance equine environment, before exploring my interest in rehabilitation and therapy here at LETC.

In 2023, I qualified as an equine and canine massage therapist, and I am currently studying for the L6 diploma in Applied Advanced Equine Hydrotherapy, as part of the first cohort for this exciting new course looking to improve standards within the hydrotherapy industry. I am committed to continuous professional development and aspire to play a key role in advancing the hydrotherapy sector.

Outside of work, I can usually be found training and competing with my dogs in agility shows across the country.
